Jim Andrews, President/CEO
Jim has over 18 years of experience in the security industry ranging from being an integrator, where he did sales, engineering, project management and high level support services for a high range of clients. He also started and continues to maintain a successful security consulting business that provides select services to a select group of clients. His experience as an Independent Professional Security Consultant has provided him with extensive knowledge of the transition the Access Control industry continues to evolve towards. Jim provides a very high level of knowledge and expertise regarding the security industry and the changes that are taking place. The open platforms available today in both software and hardware have created opportunities for forward thinking and progressive companies like SecuriCo. SecuriCo continues to make an impact as a start-up company in the access control industry through its open philosophy towards its software SecurusWeb and HID Global's VertX and Edge hardware solutions.
Jim is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) as well as the Minnesota Chapter of ASIS. He has been a presenter at educational seminars for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and ASIS.
Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Coaching Certification from the University of Minnesota.
Eric Jacobsen, Electrical Engineer/Consultant
Eric is an Electrical Engineer who brings over 20 year of broad-based experience in low voltage systems design, project management and commissioning processes to SecuriCo.
Eric's experience includes working with a variety of security and surveillance systems, security command centers, Fire/Life Safety Systems, US government mandated hardened systems, photo identification and temperature control systems. Eric has designed and managed projects which required high-end integration between many of these systems.
Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and his Master's from Northwestern (Evanston, IL). He is a past member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the National Fire Protection Association.
